Wedding Magic

As a kid, photographs have always intrigued me. Photographs are these magical bits of paper that somehow capture the time and scene of a momentous occasion. One of my favorite pictures is one with a band-aid on my nose and my brother sitting right next to me. To this day we fight over the fact that he bit me for an eraser. Just one glance at that picture, and all the memories come rushing back. Photography truly is extraordinary!

Weddings and Photoshoots

Salt and pepper, peanut butter and jelly, and weddings and photoshoots are just some of the things that go together. You really can’t enjoy one without the other.

You and your significant other too fall into this category. Your wedding is a union of two souls, families, and sometimes even cultures. Occasions like these don’t happen every day and you’d be a fool not to document it.

Weddings Through The Eyes Of A Photographer

You don’t plan on saving your memories on Snapchat, do you? Hear me out, weddings are once-in-a-lifetime events and they need a lofty investment of time, money, and emotions.

If you think planning a wedding is going to be easy, then let me burst your bubble. Weddings are expensive and they require a lot of planning. The bride and the groom’s outfits, the venue, catering, decorations, invitations, and most importantly, the wedding photographer. It’s like I always say, ‘It didn’t happen if you didn’t take any pictures’.
When I was a wedding photographer in Minneapolis, I learned that wedding photoshoots are always in fashion. Not everyone has the eye of a photographer. It’s sort of like the eye of the tiger except, rather than staring down on prey, I’m focusing on my subject.

Attention To Detail

One thing that makes a photographer stand out is attention to detail. When you’re shooting an event or any occasion, it involves real people and real emotions. You can’t stage any of it nor can you get people to do everything the way you’ve envisioned it in your mind. As a photographer, you have to be proactive and figure out,

  • What spots are the best to take pictures
  • Where the lighting is the best
  • Which lens should be used

Weddings are all about the glam! This includes pretty dresses, dapper suits, picturesque decor, and more! As a photographer, you need to make the most out of all of these beautiful pieces and you should incorporate them into your work without being too overpowering. For example, if the groom’s pocket square matches the bride’s dress, then you could do a side-by-side shot of that and the image could be a sweet little memory.

Memories Over Everything!

Have you ever caught yourself reminiscing over some great childhood memories? You can’t help but a smile can you? That’s how much power memories hold and the most concrete way to keep them by your side always is through photography.

Your wedding is supposed to be one of the happiest days of your life. Everyone you love and care for will be gathered around to celebrate you and your journey of love. Emotions on that day will be all over the place and your excitement will be sky-high. The only downside is, everything might be a blur once it’s over. You do not want to forget your wedding day now, do you?

A wedding photographer is your savior every moment, every smile and every look of love will be recorded so that you can travel back to memory lane whenever you want to.

Keeping our loved one close forever is out of our hands, but keeping the memories you make with them, those are your lifelong treasures. Take care of them.
