How to select the candles for your wax

Occasionally I get a client telephone contact who wants to know what kind of wax we are using to make our Kiri taper candles. And I said, “we are using highly refined paraffin wax in our meals.” I then say to them that paraffin candles are not ecologically harmful as many assume, contrary to what many people think.

1. No harmful paraffin.  It’s available in food!

Paraffin is just petroleum waste and is only stacked in barrels if there is no purpose. Paraffin is non-toxic and is utilized in many different sectors, such as food, healthcare, cosmetics, candle, etc.

Paraffin candles provide no health risks for humans. The scents used in many candles would be more important than wax. Taper candles without scents are non-scented thus we don’t have any small problems.

2. Candle’s most stable wax

Because of its technical benefits, paraffin is the most often used raw ingredient for candles. Indeed, virtually everyone produces paraffin tapers and pillar candles since when burned it is the stabiliest wax kind. Soy wax isn’t sufficiently stable to produce commercial taper candles or pillars. Soy is mostly used for candles in containers. There are also beeswax tapers on the market, but they are costly as everyone knows.

3. The candle’s cleaner wax

You should choose candles of the finest quality to have the optimum burn quality. In Denmark, for example, the most high-grade paraffin available is produced in Kiri Tapers. The wax is purified to such an extent that all the contaminations are eliminated and burned longer, cleaner and better than other candles.

4. Best drying candles of taper.

Most taper candles have their gouts that are distinctive of wax pureness and wick quality. Only exceptional grade components are capable of producing the extended burning period of the best tapering candles and this attribute is made of highly refined paraffin.

5. Environmental liability?

Other sorts of waxes that promise to be better for the environment are far more exciting. However, the usage of other waxes, such as soy, might have several harmful effects. The majority of soy used for candles is made in Hexane which is a solvent of petroleum. The oil is removed and the remnants of the oil are soaked to feed the animals that we consume. Now, as the soy is now just a semi-solid, chemical products must be employed to get the candles to the appropriate hardness.

Candles create a warm, pleasant light that may turn every event into a memorable experience and alter the ambiance of a certain area. Taper candles can turn your gathering in a couple of minutes into something wonderful, elegant, and magical.

They may give your event a special touch and create a beautiful environment. Tapers are available in a broad variety of colors, so they may be easily mixed together to match your desired appearance.

I hope this contributes to understanding some of the missing facts regarding paraffin wax.
