Generally, mountaineers who wish to climb the massive Mt. Everest conquer the Satopanth Peak first as a preparatory test. The tough climb will bring you rewarding views of Bhagirathi III granite pillars, Shivling, and Thalay Sagar. Kalanka Peak

The group of peaks is called Trishul which is a weapon of the Hindu deity Shiva since together, they resemble a trident. The highest of the three peaks is Trishul I standing tall at 7,120 m. Kamet Peak

With an incredible height of 7,756m, Kamet Peak is among the highest peaks for climbing Uttarakhand. Located quite near to Tibet, Kamet Peak is among the remotest locations in Uttarakhand. From afar, the peak looks similar to a pyramid with a flat sort of summit area and two peaks at the top. However, the ascent is fairly straight considering the tricky landscape. Changabang Peak
