  • Normally infants of 1-6 months old likes to drink only milk, and its really a good and proper meal for them. Specially when baby is consuming milk of mother, it is really beneficial for infant. Due to the complete nutrition elements doctors are also suggest mother milk at initial stage. 
  • With the passage of time when baby start growing, their needs also begin to grow. With milk you can give them light liquidly form of other nutrients in which fruits puree are included. It’s a best and natural meal for your baby with full of vitamins and minerals. These fruit purees are so much healthy and easily digestible. 
  • With fruit purees you can give some other baby food in which boiled, mashed eggs are top of the list. Due to the huge amount of protein in egg white your baby’s growth will be so fast. The yellow part of egg contains lot of vitamin D which is really helpful for strong bones and teeth. So, make a routine on daily basis in which minimum one mashed egg baby will consume. 
  • Next very healthy and powerful diet is mashed banana with little amount of honey. Both are amazing and full or vitamins, the mixer of banana and honey will strong the immune system of baby. 
  • Next meal that you can give rice cereal. make a fine cereal with boiled rice, honey and milk, it should be fine paste or in liquid form. It’s a best healthy option and also a rich source of calcium. Give it to your baby in small quantity with little spoon.
  •  When baby is turned into 4-6 months old, now you can give boiled mashed potatoes with very light salt and spices. you can use pinch of cinnamon powder, cannot mix too much but little bit you can. These spices are also consists of healthy nutrients specially the cinnamon, it is also called immune booster. 

Preparation of homemade food

 How can you prepare it and what should be the quantity of it is also a big question. Following are different methods through which you can make food for your baby at home easily.

Apple puree

  • First of all take one apple and wash it.
  • Boil the apple for 10 minutes or until soft.
  • Peel off the boiled apple gently and mash it.
  • Make a liquid form and add pinch of cinnamon.
  • Give that mixture to baby with a little spoon.
  • Make a habit to prepare this apple food on daily basis.

Banana puree

  • Take 1 good quality banana and peel off
  • Finely Mash it with fork.
  • Add two to three drops of black honey.
  • Mix it well and the baby banana meal is ready to serve
  • Remember bananas should be of good quality and make a fine paste like liquid. 1 banana is enough for daily.

Mashed potato 

  • Take one good quality potato.
  • Boil it for 20 minutes or until soft.
  • Peel off the skin and mash it gently.
  • Add little bit salt and cinnamon.
  • Mix it well and make a paste, its ready to serve. 

Mashed Egg

  • Boil egg first, you can also half boil the egg.
  • Mash it well both the egg white and egg yellow.
  • Add little bit spices like pinch of salt and black pepper.
  • Mashed egg ready to serve, one egg on daily basis would be enough for baby as it is rich of protein and vitamin D. 

Boiled Rice pudding

  • Its also a good sweet mixture with full of calcium. Boil half cup of rice and mix it with little bit of milk and honey for sweetness. 
  • Make a fine paste and its ready to eat.
  •  Baby will love to have it. 

Fruits and vegetable juices

Fruits and vegetable juices are really important for baby’s growth, we will not suggest you the huge quantity. You can give little bit on daily basis in baby food with spoon or with feeder. 

Apple and carrot juice

Make 1 apple and 1 carrot juice in blender, put just little bit honey in it and its ready for your baby. Remember Apple and carrots should be of good quality and really sweet in taste. Your baby can consume it with small spoon or can drink with feeder. Both are sweet, healthy and tasty flavors, your baby will happy to have sweet juice of both. 

Pomegranate juice  

Again, it’s really healthy and rich of vitamins specially vitamin c. Make a juice in blender and take out all the seeds. Remember if pomegranate is white so it would be better and sweet as well. Its refreshing, healthy and full of nutrition. You can give it in feeder as well, your baby would love to taste it and drink it.

Carrot and cucumber juice

Make carrot and cucumber juice and add some drops of honey to give sweetness. It is also so healthy and tasty drink, both vegetables are really good for eyes, skin and liver.
