Besides that, many hair products used daily can also result in damaged hair. In order for your hair to grow, they must be hydrated, replenished and repaired. No magic can grow healthy locks. However, there are some tips and techniques which can help you grow healthy hair

Method 1: living a healthy and balanced life

Staying hydrated

Insufficient water intake can prevent hair growth and reproduction of cells. Proper hydration is necessary to ensure proper function of your body. Your aim should be to take 8 to 9 glasses of water every day.

  • Replace one or two caffeinated drinks in water intakes
  • Set the alarm to remind you to drink water
  • Eat food that is rich in protein and vitamins

Proteins especially keratin is the building block of the hair. To encourage growth, eat food rich with proteins, vitamins such as vitamin A, vitamin C, iron, and Omega-3 fatty acids.

  • Avoid risky fat diets.
  • Eggs, bananas, raisins and olive oil are rich in vitamins
  • Do not consume too much salt, carbonated beverages or sugar.
  • Sleep at least 8 hours every night.

Getting plenty of sleep is essential for a healthy lifestyle. Anxiety and stress can result in unhealthy hair while affecting your overall health.

Method 2: washing, conditioning and trimming the hair

Use shampoo and conditioner for your hair type.

Read the labels of the shampoo and conditioner before buying it. It is necessary to choose a product which suits your hair type and contains vitamins. They can nourish and hydrate the hair. Choose to go for herbal shampoo for hair growth to clean and nourish the hair without any damage.

Deep condition your hair once a week

Apply deep conditioner to your hair once a week to repair and rehydrate your hair. You can purchase a deep conditioner from any store of your choice or use natural ingredients to create your own conditioner.

Use a boar-high bristle brush

Using a boar-bristle brush can result in healthy and shiny hair. These brushes condition the hair and reduce the frizz and improve the texture of the hair. This brush can spread the natural oils of the hair making them healthier and shinier.

Trim your hair regularly

Trimming hair on a regular basis can keep your hair looking and feeling healthy. Regular trimming of the hair also prevents split ends from moving up the hair which can cause breakage.

Avoid tight hair styling

Certain hairstyles can pull on the root and can slow down hair growth. Hairstyles such as high ponytails can also result in hair breakage.

Method 3: protecting the hair from heat

Use a heat protectant

It is available at every drug store. Make sure to apply a heat protectant before styling to save your hair from further damage.

Avoid using heating styling products

Applying unnecessary heat to the already damaged hair and lead to breakage and hair fall. Always wear a hair protectant to avoid it from heat damage. Don’t use too much hair dryer to dry your hair, instead, let your hair dry naturally. Limit your use of straighteners and curlers to avoid damaging the hair.

Method 4: give yourself a weekly scalp massage

Select a type of oil to massage

There are many oils which you can use for scalp massage. Use jojoba oil, almond oil or olive oil. Use a mixture of oils to be more effective.

Put a few drops of oil on the tips of your fingertips

Pour or scoop about one tablespoon of oil in a small dish and dip your fingertips. Shake off any excess oil of the fingers. Not just that, you also can drip it down from the nozzle if the oil bottle has one. Grow your hair with cantharidin hair oil that works best for your hair.

Massage the scalp

Use your fingertips to massage the scalp for approximately ten minutes. However, if you have an oily scalp, make sure not to overdo it.

Brush your hair with boar hair bristle or a comb

Brush your hair from root to end with a bristle brush. Do not use plastic or metal brushes to brush the hair.

Let the oil soak in the scalp

Let the oil soak in your hair for some time before washing it off. Wrap your hair in a soft towel or a shower cap to avoid any oil to stain your pillowcase.

Wash the oil thoroughly from the hair

After completing the hair treatment, rinse out the hair with shampoo and water to remove the oil. Don’t use conditioner after the treatment

Brush and style your hair

Towel your hair and brush out the tangles with a boar bristle brush. Leave your hair down, or give it a style, you can now enjoy a great hair day every day with nourished hair.
