Jack Eichel, the real name is Jhon Robert. He is an American professional ice hockey player who’s playing position is centre. Now Jack is playing as the national hockey league captain of Buffalo Sabres. Because of his dominating skill in a game, people named him as Eichel Tower.

His Playing Career 

He had previously played college hockey for a season during his career. In 2015 he had been nominated for the Hobey Baker Award. As a second individual in the team, he won the Hobey Baker trophy. He was one of the players developed by the United States National Hockey Development team.

Since the joining in the United States hockey league, he played for two seasons. He performed very well at the 2014 Under-18 World Championship, helping the U.S. win gold in 7 matches. He scored 5 goals in the U18 world hockey championship, 5 assists in all. He was just 17 when playing the World Junior Hockey Championship and was the youngest player in the season.

Jack was nominated to play as the captain of the United States at the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship. He scored four points in five matches. He won the bronze medal while playing for the United States World Hockey Championship and finished his busy season by scoring 2 goals and five assists.

After finishing the 2015 world hockey championship, he was immediately nominated to play for Buffalo Sabres. At the first match with Buffalo Sabres, he scored his first NHL goal against Ottawa Senators on October 8, 2015. He scored overall by scoring 24 goals and 32 assists and finished the season in 81 matches. In the same year, he got selected as the NHL all-rookie team.

Jack has a record of scoring four goals in a single game, and he was one of the players from Sabres scoring 4 goals in a single game against Vancouver Canucks. Jack earned around 300 career points throughout the season.

Furthermore, he has a history-making penalty shot in an overtime play and helped to win the Edmonton Oilers final.
